CHALLENGE

Grainmarket Properties have recently refurbished over 28,000 sqft of premium office space at 120 Leman Street, which now offers a contemporary industrial-style array of space in the exciting neighbourhoods of Aldgate and Whitechapel. Together with HK London, they appointed Echospace to create a fully fitted-out scheme which offers an instant solution to the market, in what has been a difficult lettings period throughout the height of the pandemic.

SOLUTION

Senior Designer, Sam Feeney, made use of the building’s natural features; in its raw concrete columns, steel girders and large floor-to-ceiling windows, to deliver upon community and social space, flexible working areas as well as traditional desk space.

OUTCOME

120 Leman St now offers a ready-to-go workplace that has increased flexibility, improves its occupant’s wellbeing through the use of the vast natural light and space, and delivers a modern contemporary feel.
